July Revolution 2024: Commemorative Book Project

The July Revolution 2024 was not just a movement—it was a turning point in student activism, unity, and resistance. To honour this historic moment, BSA UK is proud to lead the creation of a commemorative book, documenting the voices, stories, struggles, and solidarity that defined the revolution.

Purpose of the Book

Our goal is to preserve the legacy of the July Revolution for future generations. This book will highlight:

  • First-hand accounts and testimonies
  • Photos from protests, vigils, and organizing spaces
  • Reflections from students, activists, and allies
  • The political and emotional context behind the movement
  • The role of the UK-based diaspora in amplifying the cause

More than just a publication, this book is a memorial, a mirror, and a message—for those who stood up, spoke out, and shaped change.

Call for Papers

We welcome contributions from:

  • Students who were involved in protests
  • Writers, poets, and artists inspired by the movement
  • Photographers and visual storytellers
  • Community members and supporters who witnessed history

Want your story to be part of the legacy?

Submit your writing, artwork, or photos to our editorial team.

Partner With Us

We are actively seeking:

  • Publishers and printing sponsors
  • Historians, editors, and designers
  • Libraries and academic partners to help distribute and preserve the work

If you’re passionate about documenting truth, resisting erasure, and uplifting youth voices—join us in making this project impactful and enduring.
