Kashmir Attack

We, The Bangladeshi Students Association UK (BSA UK) Condemn Recent Attack in Kashmir and Reject Propaganda against Bangladesh and Muslims.

The recent attack in Kashmir, which has once again endangered regional peace and the lives of innocent civilians. Violence, hatred, and terror must have no place in a world striving for justice, human rights, and peaceful coexistence.

We also express deep concern regarding the role of a section of the Indian mainstream media in the aftermath of the attack. Despite India ranking 159th in the World Press Freedom Index 2024 (out of 180 countries), certain media outlets have engaged in baseless propaganda, maliciously targeting Bangladesh, the present interim government of Bangladesh, and the global Muslim community at large.
This irresponsible and hate-driven narrative is fostering communal divisions and encouraging xenophobic sentiment, which we find deeply offensive and dangerous.

As an organization committed to promoting education, leadership, and unity among Bangladeshi students globally, BSA UK officially rejects and condemns these fabricated accusations and communal provocations. Such actions not only tarnish the values of responsible journalism but also put the safety and dignity of Bangladeshis and Muslims abroad at risk.

We urge the international community, media watchdogs, and human rights organizations to take immediate notice of these incidents and hold those responsible for spreading falsehoods and inciting hatred to account.
BSA UK stands firm in its commitment to truth, peace, and the protection of all communities against bigotry and misinformation.
